If you are traveling to a foreign county, it is important to be aware of the occurrence of infectious diseases in your destination.

Developing countries and remote areas may have poor quality accommodations, inadequate hygiene and sanitation, nonexistent medical services, and unattainable clean water. In these conditions, it is especially important to take preventative measures to protect your health while traveling.

Our travel clinics provide consultations on your travel plans to assess your risk and help you minimize accidents, injury and disease during your journey. We use a questionnaire (you can fill it out ahead of time and bring it with you) in our assessment to ensure we understand the purpose of the visit, type of travel planned, traveler health status and more. This will help us determine the need for any vaccinations or special advice before your trip.

We supply and administer all international travel vaccines. Please plan to make an appointment at least 4-8 weeks before your journey, as it may take up to a month to complete some vaccine treatments. Patients

District 4’s Travel Health program is open to any individual planning on travelling abroad. Consultations are FREE, and additional fees vary depending on the vaccines needed.
