Visiting a dentist twice a year for routine dental care is important to keep your teeth and gums healthy. Preventative care like fluoride treatment can reduce the risk of cavities and tooth decay. Plus, oral health is a good indicator of overall health.
A regular dental visit includes a check-up, where the dentists examines your gums, teeth and mouth, and a cleaning, where they clear away plaque and tartar (common causes of oral disease) and polish the teeth. If the dentist detects an issue, they will ask that you come in for follow-up services.
District 4 is committed to providing every community access to quality dental care. Our dental services include:
- Fluoride varnish
- Cavity risk assessment
Dental services are available for children, pregnant women and adults. We accept all forms of Medicaid and Peach Care coverage, but we do not accept Medicare.
