Children's Dental

Part of our mission at District 4 Public Health is to promote good health through education, screenings, referrals and targeted care. With the help of our professional, caring staff, we are dedicated to supporting our communities so they can live healthier and safer lives.

We are proud to offer a wide range of quality, affordable health care services and programs to the 12 counties we serve. These programs concentrate on many areas such as:  Child Health, Community Health, Environmental Health, Health Services, and WIC

Child Health

Our Child Health Services help children prepare for school and develop to their full potential.

Community Health

Our Community Health programs provide our counties with health education and services that impact every aspect of life.

Environmental Health

District 4’s Environmental Health Offices monitor and address physical, chemical and biological factors that  prevent injury and illness and promote well-being in the 12 counties we serve.
These office handle inspections and complaints and monitors safety concerns related to the following areas:

Public Facilities

WIC

Offers nutrition and breastfeeding education, nutritious food benefits and referrals to health care providers for eligible pregnant, breastfeeding or postpartum women, infants and children up to age five.

Accepted Health Insurance Plans and Forms of Payment

District 4 accepts a variety of private health insurance plans; contact your local health department or insurance provider for coverage details. For underinsured patients, our health departments offer several services on a sliding-scale fee based on income.

If you do not have insurance, payment is expected at the time of service. We accept cash and major credit/debit cards. We do not accept personal checks or mobile payment apps (Venmo, PayPal, CashApp, etc.).
