Wendy LeVan is the Nursing Director for District 4. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Coe College in 1976. She has been with District 4 for 26 years, serving as the Family Planning Coordinator, Women’s Health Coordinator, and she has been the Director of Nursing and Clinical Services/Program Manager since 2005. Wendy also serves as the District Nurse Planner which allows her to complete the processes required by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation (ANCC COA) and the Georgia Nurses Association (GNA) to obtain Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) contact hours for activities in District 4. Wendy is honored to serve as a Georgia Public Health Nurse. Over the years, she has learned that it is important to always appreciate the past, focus on the present and have a vision for the future.
