Freda Mitchem

Freda Mitchem, RDN, LD has worked with Public Health for more than 17 years. She began her career with District 4 as a Public Health Nutritionist for the Troup and Meriwether County WIC programs. After completing the Georgia Department of Public Health Dietetic Internship Program and later becoming a Registered and Licensed Dietitian, Freda worked as a Regional Nutrition Manager for the Carroll, Heard, and Troup County WIC and Nutrition Centers. Freda maintained that position for more than six years before accepting her current position as the District 4 Nutrition Services Director.
